What is the Chill Room?
The Chill Room is a place to go when you need a break or when you just want some time to yourself. We will be learning about mindful awareness and coping skills throughout the year so you can be the best version of yourself!
What is Mindfulness?
Mindfulness is the quality of being present and fully engaged with whatever we’re doing at the moment — free from distraction or judgment, and aware of our thoughts and feelings without getting caught up in them.
Mindfulness can have numerous benefits, including decreased stress and sadness and increased levels focus and happiness,Who runs the Chill Room?
The Chill Room is run by Behavioral Health School Educator Miss Rachel, which is me! I am so excited to get to know all of you either virtually or in person, or both! Anytime you need something or want to talk we can schedule a time by emailing me at rfreeman@steelcentertech.com
We are so happy you are here and take a look at our resources to learn more about mindfulness!
