Steel Center is an innovative Career and Technical School owned and operated by eleven southern Allegheny County school districts and located just south of Pittsburgh in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania. We are a student-focused public school that delivers high quality Career & Technical Education to approximately 980 students, and are looking for a caring, highly motivated, and results-oriented professional for the following positions:
Employment Opportunities
Sports Medicine Teacher, Long-Term Substitute: Seeking a Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation Services Professional as a long-term substitute teacher to instruct high school students in a supportive Career and Technical School just south of Pittsburgh. Requires experience in the Physical Therapy or Athletic Training/Sports Medicine fields. Excellent communication, technology, and social skills are a must. Experience working with high school-aged youth in any setting is a plus. Starting salary $150/day, after 45 consecutive days the salary is $257/day plus single coverage healthcare benefits. This position is anticipated for mid-December 2025 through April 2026.
